Room hire for meetings etc – from 12-50 people depending on room

Interview Rooms - for up to 3 people

Internet café’ – 3 pc’s

Café area – suitable for  demonstrations and events

Office – space available on half day

 

What activities are currently running?

The four clocks youth project – drop in, out reach and detached work.

 


Eastgate Village Hall

 

Eastgate is 3 miles west of Stanhope in Weardale.

The village has evidence of Roman habitation – a Roman Altar to Silvanus being discovered on the river banks. The name originates from its position at the eastern entrance, the prince Bishops’ Hunting Park.

What facilities can you offer?

A very pleasant hall, sit in rural surroundings with a capacity.

Toilet facilities include a disabled toilet.

Separate kitchen equipped with range cooker, fridge, microwave, crockery & cutlery.

Square tables for 4 &upholstered stacking chairs.

 

What activities are currently running?

The hall is mainly hired for village social events & private functions by people in the local area. Alpha meeting, young farmers club are currently meeting here. Whist drives are held monthly & domino drives less regular.

Public meetings & local elections.   

 


Helmington Row Village Hall Association

A large function room upstairs, smaller facilities downstairs and full kitchen facilities.

Disabled access is available with ramps, adapted lavatory and stairlift.

 

What activities are currently running?

Carpet bowls, sewing group, quilting groups and events, fundraising activities, coffee mornings.

 

Other events have included quiz night, guided walks, slide show and talks, annual auctions and Westgate in Bloom in July, exhibitions of local works in August, Christmas shopping night December.
